We love to use technology to our advantage. With rental properties all over Gainesville, property management becomes much easier with the right app to organize our time, help with communication, and easier to retrieve property information. We are constantly searching for the most efficient solutions. In the past we have shared different iPhone and Android apps (check out these posts: App-vance your business! and Apps, Apps, and More Apps!). This time we have the top Free Microsoft apps for your phone. Here are some of our favorites:
- Photosynth: Allows you to create 3D photos
- ICE (Image Composite Editor): Used in tandem with Photosynth, this app creates panoramic pictures
- Skype Qik: Sends pictures, video, and messages to friends through the app similar to Snapchat
- Office Remote: Turns your mobile phone into a remote that interacts with Microsoft products. Instead of a clicker, you can use your phone to click through slides during a presentation.
- Xbox SmartGlass: Adds your phone as a second screen to your Xbox
- HealthVault: Acts as an online storage space for all of your medical information
- One Note: Microsoft’s note-taking app that allows you to add web pages, pictures, audio, and other media to your notes
- Office Lens: Turns your phone into a scanner and automatically uploads images to One Note and if scanning printed signs, you can search for key words on the sign
- Templates for Office Online: Provides free document templates that you can create for free online
- Docs for Facebook: Through Facebook, you can create word documents, powerpoint, and excel spreadsheets to share.
