Man, the Suwannee river just never gets old. People on the river always act and feel like they’re on vacation. Smiling, waving, hanging out on banks socializing. It’s just so fun and beautiful.

At the end of the day we did have an encounter with a crazy boater gone rogue. He literally charged us with his boat and then did circles around us egging on the men to fight. Can you say Craaaazy! I slipped the boat over to one of the neighbor’s docs who having a party and watching the spectacle and the Crazy person moved on. We did find out he got even crazier and ended up in jail thankfully.
The rental and sales market are now in full swing. We’re working with several Owners on getting their property ready to put on the market both for rent and for sale. In our feature article you can see a historic home that we renovated dramatically increasing the homes value and the owners cash flow.
We seem to have created a niche for doing this. Next month I’ll share another home we just completed renovating and had under contract within 24 hours of listing it.
I I know it can be tempting to try and sell your property without replacing those old floors or doing a full paint including trim, but you really just shoot yourself in the foot when you do that. Mini little renovations pay for themselves in way if a quicker sale closer to your market value and less chance of falling apart due to inspections and repairs. Thankfully you don’t have to do it yourself Gainesville is full of service people. It is tricky to find the good ones but when you use a Realtor they can help by referring tried and true vendors and supervising the work. Let us know if we can help you.
