The highest concentration of natural springs is right here in the north and central Florida, making it super easy to take a day trip, an overnight camping adventure, or a weekend filled with visiting multiple springs.  


Clearest Spring

Ginnie Springs

Located on the Santa Fe River in High Springs Florida, Ginnie Springs is one of the clearest springs in Florida. The 72-degree water is perfect for river tubing, swimming, snorkeling, scuba and cave diving. This spring is filled with fun, partying, college kids during the summer so it may not be ideal for young ones.

Warmest Spring

Warm Mineral Springs

Warm Mineral Springs Park provides visitors with a number of therapeutic and passive recreation options. The spring is rumored to have one of the highest mineral contents of any natural spring in the United States. Located in North Port, between Venice and Port Charlotte, Warm Mineral Springs stays a constant 87 degrees year-round.

Wakulla Springs

As the largest and deepest freshwater spring in the world, Wakulla Springs is a natural and cultural landmark, so there is a great need for its preservation as a Florida State Park. The Park has numerous springs that contribute to the Wakulla River run, hence its name "Wakulla Springs."

Devils Den is formed by a karst window, in which the roof over a subterranean river has collapsed, exposing the water to the open surface

Florida Caverns State Park offers visitors a rarity in the state, a chance to explore stunning caves. While moving between the large underground rooms, one can observe the many chisel marks made by 1930s-era Civilian Conservation Corps workers.

Hart Springs has one of the Largest Spring-Fed Swimming Areas in the State of Florida. You can take a stroll on their half-mile long boardwalk, where  you can see  the springs flow up out of the earth, and see how the freshwater flows down the run where it then merges with the famous Suwannee River. Enjoy the scenic Suwannee River, cypress hammocks and upland pine trails. This spring is ideal for families with young kids!

Ichetucknee Springs is best known for its warm weather tubing. The 2,669-acre Ichetucknee Springs State Park is also a wildlife haven, where beaver, otter, gar, softshell turtle, wild turkey, wood duck and limpkin all find a home.

The main draw is the park’s eight major crystal-clear springs that join to create the six-mile Ichetucknee River. This is Spring is a favorite of our Broker Tanya. You will find her here often on her Jet Ski as she lives down river on the Suwannee just a quick 15 minute ride away. 

Three Sisters Springs is not accessible by land. In-water recreation at Three Sisters Springs is accessible by launching a vessel from any of the public boat ramps or kayak launches on Kings Bay in Crystal River and navigating to the spring-run for Three Sisters.
