Can you believe we’re almost half way through the year? This month, I wanted to present you with something a little different. If you’re like me, you love celebrating your birthday.
Did you know that there are several places in Gainesville which offer you free goodies just on your special day? Most restaurants will require you to sign up for their rewards program which usually takes 5 minutes or less to complete. I’ve included some excellent places to try out on your birthday where you will be treated like royalty!
If your birthday has already passed this year, be sure to save these great locations to try out next year!
Breakfast
Ihop offers a free stack of pancakes on your birthday after joining their rewards program, MyHop.
Panera Bread offers a free pastry on your birthday after signing up for their program which is quick and easy to do.
Craving something more savory? Hungry Howie’s offers a free medium, 1 topping pizza with a minimum of $5 purchase by registering for their email club.
Prefer Mexican food? Willie’s Mexicana Grill offers 50% off any menu item just on your special day by joining their e-club!
In the mood for hibachi? Head over to Yamato on NW 60th St and snag their buy one get one free meal on your special day just by providing your ID!
Ballyhoo’s on W University Avenue also gives away a free lobster just on your birthday after signing up for their rewards program! Who can beat that?
Baskin Robbins on NW 13th St offers a free 2.5 oz scoop or 3 oz swirl of soft serve on your birthday by joining their birthday program.
BJ’s Restaurant (located by the Oaks Mall) offers a free signature pizookie cookie (if you haven’t yet tried it, it’s absolutely yummy) by signing up for their rewards program!
Still have a sweet tooth after finishing your pizookie cookie? Chick Fil A offers a free chocolate chunk cookie on your birthday after signing up for their rewards program. There are multiple locations in Gainesville making this offer very convenient.
Not wanting to sign up for any programs? Hyppo’s Pops offers a free ice popsicle just by showing your ID on your birthday! No sign up required.
